Kaitlyn Bjornson was raised in Neche, ND, and attended school in Neche, ND, and Pembina, ND. Before attending law school, Kaitlyn graduated cum laude from the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. She then went on to the University of North Dakota School of Law and received a Juris Doctorate in 2020. Kaitlyn is licensed in North Dakota and Minnesota.
 

During law school, Kaitlyn was a member of the North Dakota Law Review and served on the 2019-2020 Board of Editors as Research Editor and Technical Editor. Her Case Comment was published in 2019. Kaitlyn and her husband Deane reside in Cavalier, ND, with their dog Olivia (“Liv”). In her spare time, Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing piano, golfing, and reading.
